We're located in South Central Colorado in the remote mountain town of Platoro, Colorado, elevation 9,870 ft.. Founded in the late 1800's as a mining town, Platoro is a combination of the Spanish words for silver (Plata) and gold (Oro). A vacationer's paradise nestled in the Rio Grande National Forest and surrounded by the San Juan Wilderness.
